During the NFT boom of 2021-2022, a prominent and anonymous art collector under the name of "Cozomo De Medici" started collecting high value NFTs. Cozomo then announced "The Medici Collection", a formal digital gallery to showcase their massive collection. Alongside the announcement of the collection, Cozomo started a competition for designers to create the visual identity for the collection. They wanted the logo to incorporate a shield, and for the identity to project a sophisticated and classical tone.

For our submission, we focused on tying together the shield logo with a picture frame, creating an identity where the logo acts as a host for the artworks.
